Lana Arwen Lazar

Lana Arwen Lazar is a part-Native American teenage girl living in the FAYZ. She has the power of healing. Lana is the only "freak" not labled as one by everyone, mostly because of her healing ablility. It is said that Lana's dog Patrick is one of the only remaining pets of the FAYZ, since no one would dare kill the Healer's dog.

Lana lived with her parents in Las Vegas after moving from Perdido Beach. She told her parents she was trying to sneak vodka to a boy named Tony even though it was really for her. Her mother decided to send her to stay at her grandfather's ranch. Her grandfather was driving Lana and her dog, Patrick, in his truck when the FAYZ occured

Lana was in her grandfather's truck when the FAYZ occurred. The resulting crash left her with injuries that should have killed her, but she learned that she had the power to heal with her touch when Patrick defends her from a mountain lion, getting fatal wounds which she heals with her hands. She and her dog, Patrick, take refuge in a hermit's abandoned shack, after trekking through the desert. There, she learns that the local coyotes can somehow talk. They take her hostage, telling her that she needs to teach them to kill because the Darkness demands so. While trying to escape the coyotes, Lana encounters Sam and his gang. Sam is almost killed by the coyotes, but Lana heals him. They bring her to the town. She uses her power to heal the injuries suffered by children at the Coates Academy who have been punished for having the power. She also heals Cookie, a former bully, and helps Dahra Baidoo with assisting the injured. After Sam and the Coates "freaks" escape from Coates to Perdido Beach, Lana is kidnapped by Drake and taken to the mine shaft to the Darkness to heal Drake's severed arm. She grows his arm back, but it becomes a whip instead of an arm.

Lana is referred to as "The Healer" by many in Hunger, much to her dislike. She secludes herself from town in order to avoid the demands of kids wanting her to erase the smallest of pains, and takes refuge in Clifftop Resort. She is influenced by the Darkness throughout the story and plots to destroy it. Her plans fail, though, and the Darkness completely takes control over her. Under its influence, she attacks Dekka and nearly kills Edilio. Lana attempts to kill herself through radiation poisoning, but is rescued by Sam and Caine in the end. She heals Dekka, Edilio, Sam, Diana and Brianna.

In Lies, Lana is living in the Cliffside Resort with her dog Patrick. She seems to still be struggling with the darkness. She becomes addicted to cigarettes and alchohol, which is a luxury in the FAYZ. Towards the beginning of the book she has a confontation with Sam when he asks her if the Gaiaphage is gone. She flies into a fit of rage, but later it she realized that the Darkness has been using her healing powers all along to regenerate Drake Merwin, mending him and Brittney Donegal together in one body. She is still the healer and heals many of the injured children at the end of the book.

Lana continues her secluded life at Clifftop, but is drawn back to town because of the flu. She is working overtime alongside Dahra to heal the ill, both with the flu and the "Superhuman Death Cough". This deadly form of the flu causes the victim to literally hack up their lungs. When Hunter becomes infected, she discovers she cannot kill the bugs with her power. Dahra Baidoo believes this is because the virus had made its self immune to Lana's abilities.

When Brianna finds Lana and drags her back to where Sam, Quinn, Toto, and Dekka are, Lana heals Dekka after Sam desides to do last minute sugery in order to rid her of the bug infestation. She, with Sam's help, saves Dekka.

Sanjit and Virtue Brattle-Chance are her and Dahra's helpers during the illness. By the end of the book, she is dating Sanjit. Her, Patrick, and the Brattle-Chances follow Sam to the lake. She is the only one allowed to travel in between the lake and the town.

Bella Gilmore

Age/Birthday: 15/ November 20th
Gender: Female
Power: She can shapeshift. Anyone she's seen before she can change into.
Brief History:
Bella was born in the forest of Perdido Beach. She always dreamt of moving by the ocean but, her father was a wanted fugitive for murder. He had to hide. Bella had been reported missing 2 months before the FAYZ after she ran away and her father made an anomynous call to the police. Bella ran away to Perdido Beach and found a small cave on the coast. She has been living there since. Then, when the FAYZ happened she didn't even know until she went to Ralph's after the first month. Bella was actually relieved until the hunger started. She began to grow thinner and thinner. And she quite frankly looks like an anorexic now. Bella found herself a australian shepard and named him Charley. He has protected her ever since. Some kid tried to eat him once and Bella got right up and pointed her pistol to his head and warned him if he ever touched Charley again she'd go balistic on him. Bella now lives in a makeshift tent on the beach.
Physical Appearance:
Bella has medium, black hair that just hits she chest. She has blue eyes with specks of green. She stands at 5"6" and is extremely skinny from hunger. She weighs 99 lbs. Her skin is tan and smooth. She dresses like this:

Personality: Bella is nice to most people. She never follows the rules. She never really depends on anyone, she has trust issues. She is very loyal to the ones she loves. She doesn't really care about appearence or anything close to that. You could call her a tom-boy. She knows alot about hotwiring cars, stealing and how to hit a person in the right spot to kill them. She doesn't like hurting people but, sometimes its just necessary.

Brief History: (I'll make one as I role-play. I'm not quite sure what kind of person I want her to be or what kind of history I want her to have yet.)
Physical Appearance: Hailee has wavy crimson hair that reaches down to her chest. She has bangs that reach just over her eyebrows. She sweeps them to the right. Her eyes are sea green and have a sort of glimmer to them. She has ALOT of freckles. They cover her nose, cheeks and forehead. She is currently a height of 5"2" and weighs 130 lbs. Hailee is very weak and probably couldn't defend herself. Her figure is a bit curvy but, she is slightly overweight, oddly enough, with the shortened food supply. Hailee is rather pretty. Well, at least prettier than some of the girls in the FAYZ.
Personality: She spends most of her time either at home reading some ancient book or helping Quinn with the fishing business. She doesn't go out much, other than to get food and water, or go to McClub. Her brother, Jasper, protects her. He has no mutant powers but, still seems to protect her. Hailee hasn't quite figured out how she feels about the FAYZ yet. She is actually pretty funny.

Piper Micheals

Gender: Female
Family: Henrie Micheals. 6. Autistic.
Brief History: Piper grew up in the small california beach town of Perdido Beach. She lived right on the beach with her mother, Henrietta and her father, Ugine. When Piper was 9, her little brother Henrie was born. She had trouble talking to him and didn't understand why until a doctor diagnosed him with Autisim. Piper handed him off the Mother Mary right when the FAYZ started. Piper got into smoking cigarettes. She hangs out with Cookie and Sanjit. Piper has had a crush on Sanjit Brattle-Chance since he arrived from the misterious island. Piper and Henrie don't quite get along. Their personalities clash. She out-going, he doesn't talk. She smiles, his face stays the same, neutral. Piper is happy-go-lucky, Henrie doesn't move. Piper loves Henrie but, doesn't know what to do with him. She didn't take a babysitting class or anything. So, when the FAYZ started she panicked. Piper now lives in an empty house, in the forest. She has gotten bitten by a couple different animals.

Personality: Piper is VERY outgoing. She makes friends with everyone. Piper panics easily. When there is any sign of danger, she panics. Piper is popular. She can get any guy she wants. Shes beautiful. Piper loves to make people happy. Making someones day, makes her day.
Flaws: Piper is clumsy, she panics easily, she is sometimes taken the wrong way, (some people take her as a bed-jumper)

Blake Preston

Age/Birthday: Fifteen years young and reckless. Blake was born on January first. He doesn't like celebrating his birthday though.
Gender: Male, duh.
Power: If you have read or seen Twilight, you'll understand what I mean. Blake can cause people pain by looking at them. He can do it 3 times a day before it starts to reflect and cause him pain instead. Blake causes sharp, shooting pain in people's chest. It makes them feel like their lungs are closing or deflating.
Brief History: Blake has been alone his whole life. His mother abandoned him and his father right after he was born. His father left him to live with a nanny while he continued on with his acting career. Blake was left with a old lady to care for him. Don't judge her so quickly. He loved that women. She was her mother figure. Blake hated his father amd mother. He learned not to trust to many people. It only gets you hurt. Blake was raised to a rich family where he got everything. He hated it. Blake ran away at age nine. He roamed the streets of NYC for days before stumbling upon a certain half god half human. A satyr by the name of Laurel. She took him to camp. Blake has been there ever since.
Physical Appearance: Blake is a very attractive man/boy/whatever. His black hair kinda just falls wherever. He doesn't really care. He runs his hands through it a lot and often, takes scissors to random pieces just for fun. Blake's eyes are brown, almost black. There's not much to say about them. He doesn't let emotion shine through them. Blake is tan. He works out in the arena often so, that's why he's tan. (I suck at this xD) Blake has his ears pierced but, doesn't wear earrings. He is 5"9" and weighs 187lbs, most being muscle. Blake is strong and fit. He has a long scar down his back. After he got to camp, he went on a quest. A monster dragged it's poisonous claw down his back. The slice was 3 inches deep and 8 inches long. The poison was healed by a lot of Ambrosia and Nectar. Blake has a cold aura that comes off on him. And, for some reason, he always smell like Irish Spring Soap.
Personality: Blake is very....cold. He does strike up conversations, he would rather wait for someone to come bother him. He always give's them a shot though. His motto: Don't Knock It Till Ya Try It. Blake is very sarcastic. It's one of his annoying traits. He cannot get enough of annoying people. It's one of his favorite things to do. He isn't the brightest crayon in the box. Mostly because of his ADHD and Dyslexia. His ADHD is worse than others. He is constantly tapping his fingers or tapping his foot.
Flaws: Careless, Reckless and Remorseful
Likes: Being alone, music, skateboarding, sports, sword fighting, training.
Dislikes: People who take everything so seriously, uptight girls, laziness, reading, taking pictures.
Pets: None. He doesn't think he could care for it properly.
Talents: Blake is very good with his rifle. He's very stealthy. Blake plays guitar and skateobards also.
