Bella's Camp (Anyone is welcome)

Bella Gilmore

Bella walked around her camp, tidying up. There were pots and pans scattered across the sand, Charley's bed was torn. Bella walked into her cave, to her small little bathroom she made. All it really was, was a metal bucket, some toilet paper and a broken mirror. She sat down, infront of her mirror, a luxury in the fayz. She knew what she was doing. She starts to chop parts of her hair off, layering it. She didn't want to cut her hair off. She had beautful, long black hair. She didn't want to loose it all. After she finished with her hair, Bella continued her clean up.

[Faith Lehane]

I sighed, carrying the small box of food. A few lettuce, a melon, and some ... or well a lot of spinach. There was also two small water bottles, filled to bursting point. But I felt terrible bringing such bad food to anyone.
I spotted Bella, seemingly cleaning, and smiled lightly, knowing that I was at the camp she had set up.
'Hey Bella? I brought you guys some food!' I called, striding forward.
I looked out at the sea as I walked towards the dark-haired girl, and actually wished that it would move. Anything. Just a small gust of wind.

[Kenzie]

Charley was trying to tackle Sam before Bella could even react. She put a pot in a box before walking over to Sam. "Thanks. We only had two cans left." She gratefully took the box, placing it in her makeshift tent. All it was, was 6 quilts sewn together and hung over a tree branch. Bella smiled at Sam and gave him a friendly hug. "You should take a day off. You seem stressed, like an old business man." She wanted to laugh at her joke but, she was in no mood.

[Faith Lehane]

I smiled at Charley, and nodded solomley.
'Your welcome Bella. I wish I could take a break. But being the council leader means I'm kinda a always working kind of boy. Before all this, I would have laughed at the idea of me needing to take a break. Now I laugh at the idea of me not working,' that really did make me seem like an old man.
'Your eating?' I asked, a smile forming on my face.
That had become the greeting in this world. Never "How are you?" no. It had become "Your eating?".

[Kenzie]

Bella nodded. "Charley keeps catching fish and I go to the market once a week for cans." She was skinny but, not deathly like Mary. Bella scratched behind Charley's ears. "How's that going by the way. The council I mean? Astrid seems pretty controlling." Bella knew Sam loved Astrid but, Bella couldn't stand her. She was too good. Too prefect.

[Faith Lehane]

'Its okay I suppose. I mean, you know, its hard on everyone. Astrid does what she can,' my voice nearly broke at the name.
The girl I loved. But she just didn't seem to love me anymore. She controlled me, controlled the council, and when she was questioned, she snapped.
'Well, make sure that you do eat. Cause when this wall comes down, and your parents see you, they don't want to be looking at a shadow of your former self,' I tried to smile at that, but I couldn't guarantee anything.
That this wall was gonna come down. That we were gonna ever see our parents again.

[Kenzie]

Bella did exactly feed on false hope. "Sam, don't joke yourself. We'll be gone by the time this monster wall comes down." She crossed her arms over her chest and went to go grab the melon Sam brought. "You want some?"

[Faith Lehane]

I shook my head.
'Nah. You eat it. Share it with Charley,' I ran a hand through my hair, and looked around the camp.
I thought about it for a minute, and came to something important I should ask her.
'Have you found anything of your brother?...Jackson?' I asked, faltering on the boys name.
I kinda thought it my duty to know the names of most people in the dome.

[Kenzie]

Bella swallowed a lump in her throat. Jackson. She hated seen him since the FAYZ. "Um, no. I've had dreams, good ones and bad ones." She grabbed her switchblade and started to hack at the melon. It was a honeydew melon. Her favorite. It wasn't in the best shape but, it was a melon. Bella cut herself a piece and took a bite. It practically melted in her mouth. "So, how's the flu down there? I hope I don't get it."

[Faith Lehane]

'Its hard to say. I mean, sure, we know people are basically dying because of it. But Lana has no power over it. And that basically means, we know nothing,' I forced a smile, 'I hope I don't get it, and I hope no-one else gets it.'
This whole thing confused me. A dome that was impenetrable. A plague that was un-heal-able. Hell, the fact that we had mutants. A girl who could heal with a touch. A girl who could cancel gravity. A boy who could camuflague himself. Too confusing.

[Kenzie]

"You know what I fine funny," she shook her head, chuckling. He face turned serious and she looked up at Sam. "How normal all this has gotten. I mean, why are we focusing on all this shit that could have happened anyhwere in the world than trying to figure out why we have these god damn powers?" She threw her melon. There was nothing she wanted more than to be normal. "Sam, this is not normal." She stood straight and shapeshifted into Astrid. Then she mocked her. "Logic, logic, logic. I'm a controlling b****."

[Faith Lehane]

Even though I knew she wasn't actually Astrid, a rod of pain struk ny heart. Just seeing her eyes, her hair, her body.
'I know it isn't normal Bella. I shouldn't be able to shoot green light. You shouldn't be able to shapeshift. But sometimes wondering whats going on somewhere else instead of wats right in front of us...its easier.'
I finished, and decided that I didn't trust myself to say anything about her choice of words as Astrid.

Bella shapeshifted back to her normal self. "I know you love Astrid, I'm sorry for that..." She ran a hand through her long black hair. Bella chopped another piece of melon. "Sorry about me freaking out. I mean, I'm just a kid. How am I supposed to take this? Were being killed off. Who's sick idea was this?" She ate some melon, before wrapping it in a sheet and throughing it in her tent.

[Faith Lehane]

I thought about my answer for a few minutes. I could have said anything. I could have told her the truth. That LP had created this screwed up world. But I couldn't. For his sake, and for Astrid's.
'I don't know Bella. Honestly, I think it could have been anything. Nuclear fall-out. The Darkness. Anything,' I sighed, sitting on the soft grass.
